A beautiful antique Heriz carpet, woven circa 1920. The design features a large geometrical medallion on a terracotta field and deep indigo border. Fabulous secondary colours, especially the soft gold and arboreal green, augmented by the large ivory corner spandrels. A great example of Heriz weaving and a highly decorative rug.
Size: 3.37m x 2.42m (11ft 1in x 7ft 11in)
This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear, slightly heavier in places (see photos). Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.

As well as the descriptions, age and where they were made, all my antique rugs have a brief condition report. I mention things like wear, what the fringes and edges look like and any issues like repairs, usually with photos. Occasionally, I may miss something (like a small well done repair). If you notice something and this bothers you, please feel free to send it back to me for a full refund.
