An exceptional antique Malayer rug, handwoven circa 1900. This rug features a floral medallion on a navy blue Herati design field and particularly attractive mid blue border. This rug is in outstanding condition with a very fine weave, fabulous wool quality and great colours. Highly collectible.
Size: 2.00m x 1.35m (6ft 7in x 4ft 5in)
This rug is in excellent condition with good pile and minimal wear. Ends and selvedges are original and secure and it has been professionally cleaned.

As well as the descriptions, age and where they were made, all my antique rugs have a brief condition report. I mention things like wear, what the fringes and edges look like and any issues like repairs, usually with photos. Occasionally, I may miss something (like a small well done repair). If you notice something and this bothers you, please feel free to send it back to me for a full refund.
