A complete Persian saddlebag, handwoven by the nomadic Qashqai tribe circa 1960. These bags were typically woven to carry their possessions during their biannual migrations. Lovely colours, especially the blue in the medallion.

This saddlebag is in good condition with light, age related wear. The fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
