A fabulous vintage silk rug, hand woven in Kayseri, central Turkey circa 1980 with an allover design of scrolling arabesques on an ivory field and fabulous secondary colours. Very finely woven in silk on a silk foundation with highlights of metal thread .
Size: 1.45m x 0.94m (4ft 9in x 3ft 1in)
This rug is in excellent original condition with minimal wear. The fringes and selvedges are original and secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
