A lovely antique Karadja rug, hand woven circa 1900 with a geometrical 3 medallion design on a terracotta red field and deep indigo border. Fabulous secondary colours, especially the salmon pink and teal blue in the medallions.
Size: 2.00m x 1.37m (6ft 7in x 4ft 6in)
This rug is in good condition with medium age related wear, slightly heavier in places (see photos). Tiny bite in corner (see photos). Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
